There are lots of other ways you can spend your time in Arches National Park as well like biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, and stargazing. Sunrise and sunset are popular times to visit, and for good reason since there's nothing quite like the vivid color display of the sun's rays hitting its red rock landscape of Arches National Park. According to the Arches National Park rangers, the best places to enjoy the sunrise are La Sal Mountain Viewpoint, Courthouse Towers Viewpoint, Double Arch (in the Windows Section), and Landscape Arch (in the Devils Garden.) The best places in the park to enjoy the sunset are Balanced Rock , The Windows , Fiery Furnace Viewpoint , Skyline Arch and Delicate Arch.The park is open year-round, 24 hours a day, although advanced reservations are required from April through October. All visitors who enter Arches between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. will need a timed entry ticket to access the park. Reservations can be made online at up to three months in advance.
