Wisconsin Dells Travel Takeover Did you know Wisconsin Dells, WI is the Waterpark Capital of the World? With the largest concentration of indoor and outdoor waterparks on the planet, this destination is the perfect vacay spot for thrill seekers, families, and laid-back travelers alike. We traveled to the heart of America's Dairyland to try the cheese, ride the water slides, and most importantly, create the ultimate travel guide for a trip to Wisconsin Dells. Where to Stay: Club Wyndham Glacier Canyon Club Wyndham Glacier Canyon is on the Wilderness Resort grounds and has access to the endless amenities like zip lining, mini golf, on-site bar/restaurants, arcades, and coffee shops. We stayed in a spacious 900 square foot one-bedroom deluxe suite that sleeps up to 4 with a king-sized bed in the private bedroom and one queen sleeper sofa in the living area. Additional amenities in our suite included a full kitchen and dining area, washer/dryer, balcony, fireplace and whirlpool tub. The full kitchen was perfect for us to make breakfast before exploring, we even baked cookies for a movie night! Our favorite part of the suite, though, was the cozy fireplace and balcony view. What to Do:Devil's Lake State ParkDevil's Lake is a must-do. Located just 15 minutes from Club Wyndham Glacier Canyon, this state park boasts breathtaking views, paddling, beaches, and hiking trails for all abilities. Admission is just $13.00 per day, per vehicle. We hiked the East Bluff Trail from North Shore. This is a moderate hike that's approximately 1.3 miles up the bluff to the famous rock formation, Devil's Doorway. The views were extra amazing throughout the hike, so be sure to stop and take pictures along the way. Ski Hi Apple Orchard Open in the fall, Ski Hi is a local favorite that's been in operation for 100 years. Expect all of the cuteness that comes with a legacy family owned-business and apple EVERYTHING.Balanced Rock Winery This winery is truly a hidden gem. We recommend tacking this on to a day at Devil's Lake!Resort Activities Water Park passes to the seven on-site water parks are included with resort stay from the day you check in, through the day you check out.Insider Tip: the firepits exclusively for Club Wyndham Glacier Canyon guests are the perfect, quiet place to cozy up with a beverage and unwind after a long day.Where to Eat: Grateful Shed This unique dining experience was our favorite. The eclectic space features food trucks with a full bar in the center. Dine in a greyhound bus elevated above the restaurant, or in a mini VW van retrofitted with bench seats.Insider Tip: Get the cheese curds! Wisconsin is known for its cheese, and especially the fried cheese curds. As a born and raised Wisconsinite I can verify that these are legit. Tumbled Rock Kitchen Located right outside of Devil's Lake State Park, this rustic dining spot has such a cozy vibe and delicious food! We tried buffalo sliders, a hot chicken sandwich, and pear and prosciutto pizza paired with apple cider cocktails. Everything was delicious!High Rock Café High Rock Café was extra amazing with the perfect combination of delicious food and an impeccable atmosphere.Insider Tip: ask to sit upstairs for a view of downtown… and be sure to order the homemade KitKat for dessert.Moose Jaw Pizza & Dells BrewingThis lodge-themed restaurant has great pizza as well as beer and soda that they brew in-house.
