Kit Carson Home and MuseumKit Carson Home and Museum
This attraction is a tribute to Kit Carson, a trailblazer, army scout, and mountain man. Built in 1825, the home was bought by Carson 18 years later as a wedding present for his wife, Josefa Jaramillo, whose family was very prominent in Taos. Visitors are invited to walk through the house, which has become incredibly popular, and learn all about the history of the home and the exploits of the man.
