Chimney Rock Archaeological Area
- Chimney Rock is a San Juan National Forest Archaeological Area located in
Colorado between Durango and Pagosa Springs with daily-guided walking tours
are available for visitors.
Hot
Mineral Springs and Baths – The Springs are open to the Public for a
soak in 18 different hot mineral pools. Go just for the day or plan to stay
for the entire weekend. The resort provides towels, robes and locker
facilities to visitors.
Durango
& Silverton Railroad - Ride an 1882 vintage train to historic
Silverton, Colorado where you can see things only available by foot or horse
otherwise.
Navajo
State Park - Located just 35 miles southwest of Pagosa Springs,
Navajo State Park offers camping, fishing, boating, hiking, nature walks, and
recreation for the entire family.
Upper
San Juan Historical Museum - Located in town, this museum offers an
extensive display of the early day Pagosa Springs area. Here you can learn
about local history that the whole family will enjoy.
Wolf
Creek Ski Area – Just 25 miles from Pagosa Springs, this is a
high alpine ski resort, where you are 10,300 feet at the base and 11,900 feet
at the summit.
