Florida Music Festival

You’ve seen four insane shows, fell in love with an indie rock chick, danced on stage with a country metal band and had enough Miller Lite to flood three blocks of downtown Orlando. And this is just the first night of FMF!
It’s an experience in live music, film, visual arts and the cultural community, spread over four days and nights every Spring. FMF will welcome more than 250 performers from alternative, heavy, pop, country, urban, hip hop and acoustic formats along with hundreds of filmmakers and dozens of visual artists. Take a chance and dive in, whether you’re an aspiring artist or just want to indulge.
Past showcasing artists from all genres include Flogging Molly, Seven Mary Three, Less Than Jake, Academy Is, Third Eye Blind, Buckcherry, Everclear, Lit, JD Richards (Dishwalla), newly signed acts Black Tide, Between The Trees, David Melillo, Big 10-4 and regional favorites like The Legendary JC's and The Wynn Brothers Band...
Epcot® International Flower and Garden Festival
Date: March 19 – June 1, 2008
Description: Botanical wonders and gardening demonstrations hallmark this fun festival. Popular events include a greenhouse tour, water garden show, and Home Depot backyard garden party. Be sure to the check out the World Showcase to see the French fragrance, Japanese bonsai and Italian container gardens. Each weekend features a special theme, such as "I Dig Bugs" or "Characters in Bloom." Festival free with park admission. Reservations required for the Behind the Seeds greenhouse tour.
Kissimmee Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration

This is the largest 4th of July event in central Florida, with approximately 35,000 to 45,000 people attending each year. Afternoon activities include live bands (country, reggae, 50's, swing, and Latino) on various outdoor stages, street performers ( Uncle Sam stilt walker, jugglers, mimes, clowns, and other special characters), games and activities, food festival, contests, arts and crafts, misting tents, and a fireworks display. Admission is always free for everyone, and the city provides a complimentary bus service to the park. You have no reason not to celebrate the 4th of July at Kissimmee's Lakefront Park this year, it's sure to be fun for the whole family, and best of all, it won't cost you a dime.
911 Charity for Charities

September 11 brings the annual 911 Charity for Charities, a gala with many Central Florida non-profits pooling resources to produce one of the largest FUNdraisers of its kind at the Orange County Convention Center. On tap are Vegas-style gaming, bands, silent / live auctions, dinner and more.
