Always extremely popular with area residents and visitors alike, the 11th annual WACG Juried Exhibition combines works of professional and amateur artists. A diverse display of oils, watercolors, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, etc., this springtime favorite consistently “brings in the traffic!” Over $2,500 in prize monies are awarded.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has filled the weekend with several activities to keep the family busy all weekend long, not to mention that this is a free event for all of the spectators that will be in Myrtle Beach for the best weekend all year long! The event will be filmed for a Nationally Televised Series on the Water Channel, with additional coverage to be announced by Wizzard Media, of Hollywood, California. In addition to APBA Professional Racing on site, there will be live announcing from action sports celebrities’ at the event stage, crowd giveaways, trivia contests, top shelf viewing from the Springmaid Pier including food & vending ($2, for non Springmaid guests), and complimentary nearby parking is available or just a casual stroll down the beach is your ticket to fun and excitement at this Nationally featured event in Myrtle Beach! Walk for the Animals, 14th annual Pet Parade

South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival

Three day bluegrass festival featuring top names in bluegrass music. Show starts at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and 12 noon on Friday and Saturday and goes until approximately 11:00 p.m. each night.
