Greers Ferry Dam
- The dam and reservoir were dedicated Oct. 3, 1963 by President John F.
Kennedy, marking this last notable public appearance before his
assassination. The area is alive with tourism and offers interesting sites and
educational opportunities for visitors. The area covers approximately 40,500
acres and has a shoreline of 340 miles.
Tannenbaum Golf Club -
This golf course is a peninsula surrounded by water that offers exceptional
golf and some interesting greens and fairways. Tannenbaum also has a 10-acre
practice site with a driving range, putting area and chipping green.
The Fairfield Bay Tennis Center – In the heart of Fairfield Bay, the tennis center offers 8 championship courts and 2 night courts. Instruction is also available for novice players.
Greers Ferry National Fish Hatchery – Tourists can fish for trout in the Little Red River, visit the aquarium and take a tour of the hatchery.
Fairfield Bay Marina – Rent a boat for the day and cruise the open waters in Fairfield Bay. They offer pontoon, fishing boat and ski boat rentals. If cruising is more your thing, take a dinner cruise on the Belle of the Bay.
