International Peace Arch -
The Peace Arch stands astride the international boundary between Blaine,
Washington and Douglas, British Columbia. The Arch was constructed to
commemorate the centennial (1814-1914) of the signing of the Treaty of Ghent
on December 24, 1814. Standing 67 feet high, the Arch was said to be one of
the first structures in North America constructed to be earthquake proof. The
International Peace Arch is one of the few landmarks in the world listed on
the National Historic Registries of two different countries.

Wood on Water Boating Festival - The public is encouraged and invited to participate in the raft race which lasts two whole days in Blaine Harbor. Race watchers are welcome to watch the raft race from the port's promenade board walk, offering a fun and exciting outing for the whole family.
Birch Bay State Park – 194 blissful acres of camping park and 8200 feet of saltwater shoreline; all for your enjoyment at Birch Bay State Park. The park is rich in archeological significance and offers panoramic views of the Cascade Mountains and Canadian Gulf Islands.
