The 5th annual Cinco De Mayo, Hot-N-Spicy Chili Cook Off is back and it's hotter and spicier than ever. This year's competition for best chili, salsa, and guacamole will be set against the festive sounds of the Salsa band Orquestra Ron Y Ritmo from Norman, Oklahoma. Children will enjoy the Kids Zone with a Jupiter Jump and traditional Cinco De Mayo games. Salsa band Orquestra Ron Y Ritmo from Norman is just one of this year's featured attractions. There will also be a petting zoo with fun and friendly live animals. In addition to the local chili teams, there will be national competitors from CASI (Chili Appreciation Society of America). These chili pros from all over the U.S. will compete separately for their honors.

National Route 66 Festival

The National Route 66 Festival is an annual event celebrating the historic road runs that from Chicago, IL to Santa Monica, CA. The National Festival is held in a different location along Route 66 each year. Clinton, Oklahoma is proud to host this event in conjunction with Oklahoma's Centennial celebration for 2007. Oklahoma is home to more drivable miles of the Mother Road than any other state.
Rt 66 Summerfest Car Show and Annual Sidewalk Sale

This annual event is sponsored by the Vinita Area Chamber of Commerce Retail Trades Committee. It is held in Downtown Vinita beginning at 7:00 a.m. Activities include a sidewalk sale, pet parade, food concessions & vendors The car show at North Park begins around 3pm with food & entertainment. A cruise night is held in the evening after the car show.

The PRCA rule book, written by the Association's members, is the standard that is used by almost every rodeo - amateur, youth, high school, college and of course professional rodeo. Hook-N-Cookoff

Family entertainment at it’s finest highlights the National Hook-N-Cookoff. Teams of cooks from around the country prepare Catfish, hushpuppies and Cole Slaw for judging by everyone in attendance. The day is filled with crafts, games for the children, horseshoes and music, along with some of the best eatin’ you will ever have.
