Submit a Claim Form
Submit the online Claim Form with your booking details within 24 hours after booking your original reservation and 48 hours before your arrival at the property.
Effective December 1, 2010. Now you will get the lower rate found plus an additional 10% discount if you find a lower publicly available rate on the internet.
Terms and Conditions
Wyndham ® Extra Holidays guarantees that our web site will have the lowest rate publicly available to consumers on the Internet. If you find a rate lower than the Best Available Rate that is viewable and bookable on another website for the same hotel, same room type, same number of guests, same currency and for the same dates, and advise Wyndham ® Extra Holidays within 24 hours after booking your room on our web site or through our central reservation number, Wyndham ® Extra Holidays will match the lower rate found and give you an additional 10% off each night of the stay. If there is a rate available on our web site or through our central reservation number that is the same or lower than the rate on the other website, the Wyndham ® Extra Holidays rate will be offered instead. Due to rounding and other issues, rates within $.25 of our Best Available Rate will be considered a match and will not qualify for Best Rate Guarantee claims.
To file a claim, fill out the online Claim Form with your booking details. Only one valid claim can be submitted per person, per e-mail address, per calendar month. All reservations must be for personal use only and booked by the guest who will actually be staying at the hotel. Reservations booked by brokers or agents will not qualify. Best Rate Claims and any discounted rates issued under this program are not transferable.
Guarantee applies only to reservations made on our web site for Wyndham ® Extra Holidays hotels in the United States, Canada, Caribbean. Guest must have a Wyndham ® Extra Holidays reservation confirmation number.
Guest must submit the claim within 24 hours after booking the original Wyndham ® Extra Holidays reservation and at least 48 hours before scheduled arrival. If the original reservation was made within 48 hours of arrival, the Best Rate Guarantee is not applicable. The competing rate on another web site must be for the same resort, for the same dates, for the same room type, for the same number of guests, in the same currency and must be publicly viewable and bookable via the Internet. A viewable rate means that the general public can view the rate on the web site. A bookable rate means that the rate is available and can be reserved online. Special rates available only to members of membership clubs or programs do not qualify.
Wyndham ® Extra Holidays customer service agents must be able to verify, to their satisfaction, that the claim meets all conditions of the Guarantee and these Terms and Conditions, and that it has been properly submitted Wyndham ® Extra Holidays reserves the right to reject a Best Rate Claim and/or to cancel any discounted rate previously issued by it in the event of fraud or abuse of this Program or non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
For a multiple night stay, the total room cost for the stay will be evaluated in determining whether the other web site has a lower rate
Any rate change is not effective until the guest receives written confirmation. The standard claims processing time is 24 business hours (Central Standard). Claims submitted outside of business hours will be processed on the next business day. If a guest's stay begins before written confirmation is received, the original rate will remain in effect. Wyndham ® Extra Holidays recommends that the written confirmation of any rate change be presented by the guest at check-in.
The Guarantee applies only to published rates available to the general public. This excludes private rates, rates involving a prepaid voucher program, require a coupon or promo code, hotel rooms sold as part of a travel package, corporate discount rates, group rates (5+ rooms), meeting rates, any rates requiring membership in a club such as AAA rates or AARP rates, affinity program, or other organization where the rates are targeted toward a specific group of individuals and not intended for the general public.
The Guarantee does not apply to web sites or rates where the Wyndham ® Extra Holidays brand and/or specific resort and location are not known until the booking is made such as Priceline® or Hotwire®.
For purposes of this Guarantee, the "rate" includes the room rate only and does not include any taxes or tariffs (i.e. federal, state, provincial or local) or any guest fees or charges (i.e. - resort fees) which may be imposed by the resort on the guest's stay.
The rates available under this Guarantee cannot be combined with any other special or promotional offers or discounts.
Void where prohibited by law. Wyndham ® Extra Holidays reserves the right to modify, alter, suspend or terminate this Guarantee at any time without prior notice at its sole discretion.
How to Submit a Claim
Before submitting a claim, please ensure that your claim meets the following requirements.
1. You booked your original Internet reservation for a Wyndham property in the United States
or the Caribbean: www.extraholidays.com
2. It has not been more than 24 hours since you booked your original Internet reservation.
3. The competing rate must be available to the general public.
4. The competing rate must be confirmed as available.
5. Your original Internet reservation was not booked within 48 hours of arrival. Because
Wyndham ® Extra Holidays must check the availability of the competing rate before honoring
a claim, we cannot guarantee reservations booked within 48 hours of arrival.
