Shawnee Village Resort is nestled along the scenic Delaware River adjacent to the 70,000 acres Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Our spacious villas are fully furnished and offer 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Villas include a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances and sleep up to eight.

General Information

Check In / Check Out

  • Check in is between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm on the day of your occupancy. For security purpose, guest must produce a Photo Identification Card (i.e. Driver’s License) and a valid credit card. You must be twenty-one (21) or older to register into a Villa. Please notify the resort in advance if you anticipate a late arrival.
  • Check Out time is at 10:00 am on the day of your departure. Check Out times are strictly enforced because of scheduled housekeeping. Failure to checkout at scheduled time will warrant a late fine of a minimum of $250.00

Payment Policy
*100% full prepayment is required at time of booking.

Credit Card Policy
*You are required to enter a valid credit card number to either guarantee or pay in full your reservation.

Cancellation Policy
*Except for Holidays and Special Events, reservations may be cancelled without penalty up until 11:59 p.m. three (3) days prior to arrival
Reservations cancelled less than three (3) days from the day of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one nights stay plus tax.

No Shows and Early Departures
*No Shows and early departures will not receive any refunds.

Damage Security Deposit
*A damage security deposit of $200 is required. The security deposit will be used, if necessary, to pay for any damages, missing items, extraordinary wear and tear, failing to timely vacate or other charges arising from your occupancy. Your card will only be charged up to $200, if necessary. Cash deposits will be returned by the 18th of the month following your departure date.

Pets
*No pets are allowed on property. Violation of this rule will result in a fine of $250 for each day the pet was on property.

Villa Assignments
*Please be advised that in order to accommodate both resort owners and daily guests at the resort, from time to time it may be necessary to make a room change during a guest stay. We will do everything possible to avoid this event; however, should the need to change a guest's room arise, you will be advised at the time of check-in.
*For multiple reservations, close proximity cannot be guaranteed. We can only guarantee same community.

Maximum Occupancy
*The maximum occupancy of rental properties is limited by local zoning. The maximum occupancy is eight (8) guests. If you exceed this number, you will be charged an additional $100 per night for each person over the permitted occupancy.

Parking
*Parking in all of our communities is limited. Only one vehicle parking space is provided. Additional parking is available in designated overflow parking areas. Parking passes must be displayed in the front window of all vehicles.

In order to accommodate both resort owners and daily guests at this resort, it may be necessary to make a room change during a guest stay. We will do everything possible to avoid this unlikely event, however, should the need arise to change a guest’s room, they will be advised at the time of check-in.

From Interstate 80: Take Interstate 80 to exit 309 (Route 209 Marshall Creek-Shawnee). Go one mile North on Route 209 to Buttermilk Falls Road. Make a right onto Buttermilk Falls Road and continue ½ mile to the Shawnee Commons Recreational Center/Check In located on the left.

From Lehigh Valley International Airport: Follow signs to US-22 and go East toward Bethlehem. Merge onto PA-33 North toward Stroudsburg. Take US-209 North toward Stroudsburg. Merge onto I-80 East / US-209 North. Take Exit # 309 for US-209 North toward PA-447 North. Continue onto Seven Bridge Road. Turn right onto Buttermilk Falls Road. The resort is located at 5255 Buttermilk Falls Road. (approx. 45 minutes)

From Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport : Follow signs to Interstate 81 North and take I-81 North to Exit # 187 toward I-84 East. Merge onto I-380 South / I-84 East toward Mt. Pocono / Milford. Stay to the right to take I-380 South via Exit 4 toward Mt. Pocono. Merge onto I-80 E via Exit 1 on the LEFT toward Stroudsburg. Take Exit # 309, US-209 North toward PA-447 North. Continue onto Seven Bridge Road. Turn right onto Buttermilk Falls Road. The resort is located at 5255 Buttermilk Falls Road. (approx. 1 hour)
